Henry Eng Industrial Park

The Henry Eng Industrial Park—a once vacant, mined-out gravel pit on Dunford Road in Langford—is now the prize asset of the Eng family portfolio. Located in the heart of the Capital Regional District’s western communities, the property was initially acquired as a repository to indulge Henry’s passion for collecting equipment (some might say junk).

A frequent visitor to auctions in Vancouver, Henry was known for purchasing items on a whim—cranes, bulldozers, heavy-equipment—and then leaving his sons to get the often-questionable merchandise home, and functioning. In fact, they’re still trying to dispose of some of Henry’s treasures today.
